Niyonshuti is an events, weddings and conceptual photographer based in Kampala, Uganda.
Her curiosity for photography began in 2017 when she started shooting genres like texture, daily life and nature with her smartphone camera. She has since moved up through different tech to professional DSLR & mirrorless cameras present day.
She uses creativity and intentional storytelling to bring ideas to life. From crafting mood boards to shooting and editing, her focus is on creating images that feel fresh, visually compelling, and divergent from the expected. Niyonshuti’s style has been shaped through the years by her background in marketing and love for multimedia design with cinema being a major source of inspiration.
When she’s not behind the camera, you’ll probably find her journaling, filling in a coloring book, or enjoying a good movie with a cute snack.
